2nd vote for Keith at Professional Edge. Anxious to see my Diamondback I ordered at the Blaine Expo.

Your options are going to be limited if you want a lifetime warranty. Lifetime warranty means built inexpensive so they can be exchanged a couple times and still make money.

Buy a good stick and treat it right and it will last a lifetime.

That has been my experience anyhow.

Don't know about the warrranty, but Frank's Custom Rods are some of the best I've found.  He made an 8' 6" model for me a couple years ago.  I can cast 10" Jakes a long way, and make huge figure-8's.

Tica rods in 8'6" are pretty decent for 115 bucks...heavy and x heavy actions

If you have more to spend..go with Keiths rods...very nice rods...

If you can ever find any 8'6" All Stars at swaps etc..they are great rods too

I agree with Keith and others on the Lifetime warranty. This last year I got tired of replacing my lifetime warranty rods and had Keith build me a pair of customs.

I would also like to point out to my knowledge KT Pro Edge does not have a Pro-Staff budget to pay the people who use his rods. And yet so many people are quick to reccomend him just on the merits of his work. In a world of transparent warranties and empty promises that means something to me.

Wanted to chime in my $.02...I emailed Keith at Professional Edge last evening and had some questions about the Diamondback rods he builds since I'm also looking for an 8'6". I mentioned in my message that if it would be easier to call to answer my questions to feel free to do that. I got a call from Keith w/in 20 minutes. He answered my questions fully and I will without question be ordering from him. I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to listen. This is a rarity in business these days. When I order from him, I will be paying by check rather than credit card since the credit card co's charge the seller also. Paying by check (or cash) helps keep costs down which can only help those looking for custom rods.

I've seen Keith's name/company mentioned elsewhere and very good recommendations given there also.

Looking forward to ordering from him and getting my Diamondback!!

We all know that sucess relies on finding the Pattern.

Quality, great service, and muskie rods built by a Muskie Fisherman, built the way YOU want them, sounds like a PATTERN to me and a winning pattern at that.
