Posts: 199 Location: Nebraska | That's one hell of a crappie you got there! WTG! Too bad I can't stay for the weekend. Picking up my new (to me) Ranger at Pro's Choice Marine in Warsaw MO Friday! I'll have to look you up sometime and get some pointers on that lake. I get to Springfield a lot for work. Going to be in Springfield this afternoon and night for a meeting tomorrow AM. If you are close to Springfield, PM me and maybe we can have a beer or something. Stein. Edited by Stein 11/2/2006 12:39 PM

Posts: 1317 Location: Lebanon,Mo | not a problem Stein, hope your boat works out. fellows can be really productive most of the time, you just have to consider you have a 40hp res.,no jet skis (thank the lord for that one, lol!!) no swimming. it doesnt get alot of pressure and that helps a bunch. was on it today, but she is finally turning over. have fun!!

Posts: 1317 Location: Lebanon,Mo | there is a small lake northeast of jeff city called henry sever lake.i dont know the status on it and never been there. you have pomme de terre lake that is hour north of springfield and fellows that is ten minutes north of springfield.(40hp limit and permit required) there use to be a very small lake right in jeff city that was stocked with fish, but not for sure on that one. you can go to the missouir musky website to find out more. anything else, just let me know. thanks, fred.

Thanks for the info. My future son-in-law came in for Thanksgiving and suggested that when I come down to Jeff. City that we go fishing. He has never musky fished in his life. I will research the lakes that you gave me. Thanks again.........................
