Posts: 147 Location: Milwaukee, WI | Duck Bay Lodge: for more info, see their website. We have been going there each year for the last 4 years. Plan to go there next year, too. 1st class American plan, great food, friendly-helpful staff, very-nice rental boats, they can host about 30 anglers MAX, about 2miles NE of Blueberry Is., good guides on-staff, new sauna at the camp.

Location: Athens, Ohio | http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=19... one of my very favorite places in the whole wide world. A 'happy place'. Also, nearby, King Island lodge, Split Rock Lodge. Sab Bay lodge is closer, though. m

Posts: 484 Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | The closest to Blueberry Island are Hanson's King Island Lodge and Sabaskong Bay Lodge. Either is a good choice, but Sabaskong Bay Lodge would be my choice. Nice folks there, and they really try to make your trip good. You can't beat the location for muskie fishing. Within a 5 mile radius you have some of the best muskie water in the world.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Red Wing Lodge. Red Wing is also very close to Blueberry Island. We will be up there (hopefully) the last week of July-early August, and are looking for people to join us. If you want, drop me a line at [email protected] if interested.

Location: Athens, Ohio | A link to Duck Bay's website, or an e-mail addy, would be very nice. The guide can even make these links part of their signature without being accused of shamelss self-promo. I'd really like to return to Sab Bay next year. m

Give Mike a call 952-933-0626. Or email him at [email protected] Hmmmm........Now you have me thinking maybe I should give him a call MR
