Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | My middle son has a lime green one and you can say it's his favorite bait. He puts it on, he catches fish. He lets me use it, I catch fish. Here is a nice one he caught thursday evening: Attachments ---------------- 05loganbass.jpg (55KB - 101 downloads)

Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | No measureing stick so I eyeballed it on my rod and measured that later. That was 18.5" but i think it ws bigger. Very thick fish, all of 5lbs if not a bit more. He was pretty happy and fished that bait the rest of the trip and ot a few more pike.

| Still wondering where I can get VS spinnerbaits. I was told that they would be available through Tacklefirst.com, but don't see them on the site. | |||

Posts: 323 | Todd, Nice fish! However, in looking at the photo and using the width of your son's middle finger nail, the size of the belt buckle and using the distance he is holding the fish from his body (estimated at 8 & 13/64 inches) my calculations come up with a fish of 18 5/32 inches. This is a far cry from your claim of 18.5 inches! Plus, the background seems to have been altered somewhat....................... Just kiddn'.............Congrats to you and your boy!!! Good fishn'............

Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | Thanks guys. This guy already has 2 muskies to his credit too. He let me use the bait tuesday night and me loses a bass just as big on it. The paint is literally gone off the jig head and on about it's 3rd trailer hook. The rest of the bait is just fine.
