What do you guys think about using twin tail grubs instead of the normal single tail grubs as trailers on you bucktails.
Wouldn't the twin tails offer more action.

Ralphie,

The "Deuce Tail" has been a favorite bucktail of mine for about 3 years now. You definately get more action and it also seems to make the bucktail run just a little bit shallower then usual.

Tony Grant used to make them under the name of "Producer" tackle. Don't know if he still does or not.

I am a firm beleiver in Powerbait twister tails on bucktails. Sometimes I even put them on other baits like crankbaits.

I love the twins too. I have a couple with 4 tails and like them even better.

The twins will give you more "lift". If you're working over weeds, the twins will help your hair stay high.

I find it depends on the bucktail. I'll try both, see how it runs and looks, and then decide which one to use. My Musky Candy seems to like a single tail grub. Some of my bigger stuff the double tail seems better.

I'm with Jomusky, I think the PowerBait adds the scent trial that sometimes turns followers into boated fish.

I've been using twin tails for years with good success, I prefer a bucktail with them vs. a single tail.

I prefer the twins over the singles. White or red have been the best producers for me.

Hey guys, be careful with the powerbait grubs. I only use the really big magnum one ro make baits now, the others were brittle and broke on me after a few casts. Had one break on me just handling it. They sure smell good though.
