Posts: 75 | With all this pandemic stuff I'm losing faith that the Canadian border will be open in time for my July trip. Does anyone have a suggestion for a resort in Minnesota(or Wisconsin) for a muskie trip that has good rental boats? Thanks

Posts: 20229 Location: oswego, il | We stayed at Glenwood Lodge on lake Vermillion one time when we needed to rent a boat we did so from a marina on the lake. I will try to remember the name of it but they were more towards the center of the lake. It was a crestliner 1700 fishhawk. That can also be an option for you to consider if the place you would like to stay does not have a suitable boat.

Posts: 75 | Thanks for the suggestions. I stayed at Life of Riley on Vermilion way back in 2001 and was wondering about that lake. I'm hoping the border opens up, but not holding my breath.

Location: Athens, Ohio | If you're interested in Mille Lacs, we stayed at this place. There was a marina just up the road that may rent boats, the Inn folks would know. We used one of the guides for a walleye trip, and Aaron McQuoid put us on a memorable day which included my son seeing a 50+ muskie chasing Aaron's walleye to the boat. m https://www.mcquoidsinn.com/
