Posts: 58 Location: Oak Island, MN | I need help in identifying the attached top water lure. A customer I had in the boat today purchased this at the Chicago Musky Show, and felt it was made and imported from Europe. With even more luck, perhaps one of you lure experts would also know how to obtain one. Thanks, Frank Walsh Attachments ---------------- mysterylure1.jpg (11KB - 290 downloads)

Posts: 58 Location: Oak Island, MN | Thanks guys, I knew the Lureheads on this site could do it. If the photo was larger, you could see the teeth marks. And the fact that I want one badly should tell you something. Thanks again! Frank

Posts: 25 Location: London | Hi Frank Glad the "Ace" Tip Top is doing the business, but a word of caution. When it was first available here in England there were serious questions raised about the robustness of the line attatchment eye.I don't know whether these were answered or rectified (if necessary). Hate you to lose a hawg. Tight lines Seb

Posts: 58 Location: Oak Island, MN | Hi Seb, I really did not examine the lure in detail. I know the customer had pretty much changed hooks & split rings due to use. In the week it was used I know it boated at least a 45, 46, & 51 without issue. Thanks for the heads up! Frank

Posts: 2061 Location: Belgium | hi mr moore, nice to see you here. I must say we received some tip tops for our prize questions from Phillip Griffiths and these looked sturdy enough to me. Good screw-eyes
