HELP!!!!!!

Just got the new boat last Friday and broke it in over the weekend. Moved a ton of huge smallies Sunday, coming right to the boat and darting away. Then this morning I moved 8 different muskies between 38"-47" on tonka, most coming in more then once and no takers! I'm going crazy with this!

I don't know how to reduce a photo, so anyone who'd be willing to post a pic of it let me know and I'll send you a pic to post.

Treats - the trick is to appease the spirits of the water. They do not favor brand new boats, they don't like all the boat traffic. But once they get to know you, and like you, then you'll get fish. The fastest way to get on their good side is to go out of your way to pick up trash in the water and on the shore. Sometimes they'll put a bit of junk (like a floating beer can) near you to see if you're a good guy or not. Never pass it by, always pick it up, because at that moment you actually have the attention of the spirits.

Also, throw a pinch of, or lacking that, some tobacco. Pour some beer or booze in the water, too. Tell the spirits that you are giving them the gift first, of course, so they are aware of the favor. Otherwise, they may think your just another **%&%& from Chicago.

Treats, I have been having sim iliar problems on Tonka. Moving fish, but none in the boat in 3 weeks. Heck, today I had one about 44" follow my top raider and I swear his nose was toucking the rear treble hook. Lazy is what they are!

Just curious, are ya concentrating shallow out there?
I was fishing the weedlines today!

LOL Ranger!!!!

I did pull some junk out of the lake last weekend. I guess that's why I'm seeing fish instead of going blank. I'm going to fish with Happy Hooker this weekend. He's always good for something. Tahoe, I was fishing the edge, but I was throwing a little further onto the shallow side and pulling it over. I had a 46-47"er "kiss" that Jerko. Give it time and they'll go NUTS!!!!!

I did speak to someone near Handscrabble point - that wasn't you was it?
What kind of new rig did you get? I am in the market - see my post in the boats section. If I recall, you had a buddy @ Tracker? I'd be interested if the rig and price was right! Just do not know much about Tracker...But sure do like these New Tundra's they have out!

Ranger has it right but he forgot a biggie. Run around the lake until you see a nice, very dead, stinky floating carp or bass that has been floating in the sun for a few days and been feeding the gulls. Scoop it up with the net and drag it all around the floor on the new carpet. Wait until the flies come for the feast before power washing it off at the car wash. This will appease the fish gods very well and you will be rewarded with some action.
