Posts: 1039 | That Oconomowoc River chain lakes all have huge fish in them. Okauchee, Oconomowoc, Fowler and Labelle. Not at all surprised when I hear of big fish out of those waters. But as a true sleeper, I'd probably think North Lake or Pine Lake.

Posts: 345 Location: Poynette WI. | I love that a lot of places i fish are considered "sleeper" area's, either that or there just not talked about alot. A couple of smaller lakes i used to fish without hardly ever seeing a musky bait being thrown have really been hit hard the last few years. I will say that the lower Wisconsin river is probably one of the most under utilized when it comes to musky, maybe because the river is alot different than a lake. For the locals or guys who have been fishing it for years, it's just another day on the water, but for new anglers, it can be very challenging. I love the River!!

Posts: 26 Location: Sauk City WI | FISHFINDER101 - 8/15/2014 2:22 PM I'm not sure under utilized is the word I'd use for the lower wisconsin river so far this year. Maybe if you're talking about further downriver but the couple miles by sauk has been fished pretty hard this year. I see atleast a couple boats every night I'm out that are musky fishing. Seems way more pressure this year.I love that a lot of places i fish are considered "sleeper" area's, either that or there just not talked about alot.
