Location: Ludington, MI | My 20th anniversary is in late August. I'm looking for a scenic September destination where my wife and I can celebrate without the kids. Mountains, waterfalls, coastline, streams...any of that will do.
But I'd also like to take a guided musky day trip for that day she wants to do nothing but read a book. I prefer to cast.
I was thinking Tobermory or Niagara area, but I could be convinced otherwise. We're in western lower Michigan, so I'm thinking not more than a 12-hour drive. |

| The Detroit River has some nice breakwalls and rip rap. If you run her by the steel plant there are some bubbling brooks which are technically called outflows. |

Location: New Jersey | You should check out the Middle Allegheny in Northwestern, PA. A good chunk of the area is in the Allegheny National Forest and it's not far from Lake Erie. There's a well-know guide on that stretch of river who is pretty top-notch in my book. |

| I know people who guide Musky on the Niagara, and that's a beautiful destination for a getaway. Obviously the Falls are awesome and you can do wine tours and stuff. That would be a good location for a vacation and the Musky fishing can be real good.

Location: Lake St. Clair | ahh yes the Detroit River. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for us who fish that system all the time, rip rap, and "babbling brooks" are true beauty! Especially when there is slimy muskies involved! |

| Lake kinkaid. It surrounded by all national forest and rock bluffs etc. scenic lake for sure. Plus there's tons of stuff to go hike And see. Then you have all the winery's on the hill sides that are super scenic. Then go with Scott Donavan or chad they will put you on fish
