I have a few bucktails that the paint is wore off and want to repaint them. Anybody know what kind of paint is on them?

Don't know what is on yours but powder coating is a very chip resistant finish.

What do people use to clean old blades before repainting them?

I used xylene. Took the paint right off. All the way down to the brass.

I use a ACID ETCH Primer and then paint over, that way the paint will not chip off. I also use a air brush.

FYI Spike-It's so called paint dip is chrome coloring. I failed to recognize this when I ordered it.
