| used the regular 832 and it bleeds pretty bad. also digs in the spool worse than any other line i have ever used. I tried 3 different spools of it.. ended up taking it all off (actually had to cut it off one reel) and went back to cortland and PP. |

Location: Wisconsin | I have the 832 on my walleye and bass outfits and it is a digger. I put the coals to a 8lb walleye in depere a couple of weeks ago in current and I had to spend some time pulling the line off the spool and resetting. I think it is the gore fibre, it seems slicker than the others. Hopefully it will sit down this year.
Haven't tried it for Muskies, my ski outfits are not ready for new line this year.... |

| I'm not on the pro staff or anything but I've gotta say that the green and hi vis yellow/green 832 so far have been the best braids I've ever used.
I've seen some discoloration over time, but no bleeding. I've had green fingers and red EVERYTHING from the colored PP, but nothing like that from 832. Not even close.
In response to the line digging in to the spool......as with all braids, you've got to pack this stuff down so its rock hard on the spool. Lob out a double ten and put the motor in forward and hit the freespool button until you're down to the backing. Then hand the rod to your least favorite friend and tell them to start cranking. Line won't dig in, you'll cast farther, and backlashes will be much easier to get undone.
As far as the "ghost" version of 832....I don't use the white stuff, but I'd assume its just uncoated or at least un-deyed, just like you can get white PP.

| I have 50 pound on my catfish rod and absolutely love it. Completely different approach of course, but I do really like the way it handles. |

| Addict, i tightened it down just like you said. After about 1 morning of casting it was digging again. To compare, i have never had to tighten it down on any other braid i have ever used. I usually spool pretty tight. But the slippery-ness of this line still digs in like crazy. If you get a backlash you are done! |

| thanks guys.. i have used most of the braids out there but PP has been a main stay for 10+ years.. i have never had to cut or use a pick ever on a backlash and from this post and one from last year sounds like this 832 stuff really digs.. i started using Daiwa Samurai braid last year and really like that.. cast smooth as butter and hold very little water.. i have never worried about line bleeding other then red PP.. i still have red cork on 2 rods from using that stuff.. think i will just stick with PP and Samurai..

Location: Hayward, WI | I used 832 on my most often used rig last year and had no problems as all. Anything from spinnerbaits to double 10's to Pounders. I had been using Masterbraid Bronzeback and like that line a lot, but the 832 did well for me also. Very few backlashes, not hard to get them out when I did get them, and no digging in problems for me.
I bought some 20 lb for a walleye stickbait/crankbait rig. We'll see how that does this year.

| I have used the 832 Ghost this year with no prolems. It's to early for me to make a final judgement of the product. I've been a TUFF Line guy for years & I really have no real good reason to change lines but I find myself trying new stuff from time to time just to see whats out there. I will say I'm not a big fan of Power Pro or Spiderwire. |
