| Who is soaking suckers already? |
| |
| Me, me, me..i am. I'm taking Chuck Altamore's advise and adding a spinner to my suckers this weekend. i think the lake i'm going to maybe be close to flipping over.(turnover)
Soaking suckers is fun, but after a while, i have to cast one too...you know you can get a sucker to work like a DOC or Jackpot? you can also keep then on the quick strike rig, tighted or shorted the back wire, get them shaped more like a "U" and they work like topraiders. Or keep them stright like when using them as Doc's and Jackpots and add some weight to your leader and they glide sub surface. I'm not pulling anyone's leg...one bad thing about casting suckers...if you are casting a big one, and she flies off the quick strike rig....BACKLASH...that a lot of weight tranfer and it will happen. so, if you sucker dies this weekend, hook her up firmly and cast away!!!! this is why is site is here,right..share info? oh yea, the fig 8 just fine
keep it reel,

| What do you soak suckers in?
Where would you add the spinner?
I have a sucker before as a lure with a quick strike and it does work like a jackpot. I had a few last just hammer it! |

| Komer,
Are we on for the weekend of Nov. 8-10th at Musky Joe's hideout?? |

| Just started back again yesterday and went one for two with a nice 36 incher, so unless I am trolling, there is going to be one overboard. Good Fishing, Al[] |
| |
| Normally I would be by now. Problem is the trolling bite where I fish is too good to give up. It might be at least another month before I soak them. |

| Steve,
Can't make it that weekend, it redneck carnival that weekend in MN, The DEER OPENER! Happy, not quite legal, but I tend to bend the rules after catching 10 hammerhandles a day. I like to thin out the population of snakes! |
