| Came home Friday night to find that my Apartment was broken into!!!!!!!
Bastard got my DVD player, computer, some reels and a few cameras.....one was my fishing camera that had all of this seasons muskie pics on it! I wish they would have left the film, that's the one that hurts the most[:blackeye:]
Then I came out this morning to find garbage dumped in my boat! I know it was the PETA hippies that live next door.....I'll deal with them when I get home from work. They picked the wrong time to mess with me, if I don't post for a while someone come bail me out [;)]

| Thanks Lance, no they don't know anything about anything....too stoned I guess? (no offense to the fellas on this board who like to get chiefed now and again) I don't think they have the a big enough pair to break into my place....but they would mess with my boat. I've never did anything to them but they're always talkin #@$% when I'm unloading my gear out of my boat when I get home from fishing. Never directly to me but to each other about me about how "dumb it is to fish" and "only rednecks fish"......whatever. They'll get a bit of street justice soon enough to make them think twice about ever even opening thier mouths to any fisherman again. It's one thing to just talk %$#@...I can let that go but to dump garbage or more or less sh-t on my property that I go to work everday to pay for....those are fightin words to me.

| Sounds like it might be time to move. Try to find a place with a garage for your boat. Especially if you are looking to upgrade. Look into a townhouse if you don't want to do much yard work. Most likely you will get a 2 car garage.

| Hope you called the proper authorities.They may dust for prints or may know of other break ins in your area.Also if you find your stuff floating around,or at the local pawn shop,they will know who you are,as they will have a report on file.You may save someone else the grief. |

| Lance, I am moving....to Chicago in January for a promotion. I'm looking to rent a house somewhere in the burbs, I've had enough of living in the city. I want to rent a house down there because I hope to move back to the twin cities with in a few years. I gotta go to get where I want to be in my career, but it means more $$$ and that means a new Tuffy [:bigsmile:] Next time we race on Forest it'll be a bit more even[;)]
Raze1, Yep...the fuzz was called but they said that printing the place wouldn't do much because of how damp it was out???? Insurance should cover it all, but the fish pics will have to be replaced by catching more fish and hopefully bigger ones!

Yesterday, I was working on the Lund in the garage, and a car pulled into the alley. Stopped in front of the garage, and was looking in. I came out from around the boat, and briskly walked towards them. They took off down the alley. I got the plate number, and gave it to my cop neighbor. He ran the plates. Guess what. They don't match the vehicle. At least the cops got the vehicle description, and plate number. Hope they catch these guys.
I am becoming more vigilant in watching what goes on in my neighborhood. It really pi$$es me off that this trash comes over from their hoods, and rips us off. 4 more years, and I'm oughta there!

sorry to hear about the break-in and the fact that you are moving. There are many nice subs in Chicago. Get used to paying tolls and high rates for utilities. But take care of the career and it will take care of you. We never got to fish together, but I appreciated your tips about Bald Eagle. I never got back ther as I am enjoying Minnetonka too much.
