| Keep at it Mike. When they decide to smile upon you I'm sure it will be worth all the effort. They smiled on me last year in the form of a 51" spotted, but not as of yet this year.

| 49" last weekend on Tonka and personal best. Previous personal best was only 42, so I am quite happy.
Was out this morning and I do not even want to talk about the one I lost. Easy 55...I think was pushing 60"...
I'll start a thread on that later. |

| I guess the folks who got a 50 are more humble that those of us who did not.
Like previous grateful posts, I'm very happy with a personal best this summer; not a 50 but more fish than ever and a new biggest fish. Plus quantum improvement in knowledge due to vulturing on this site since last fall. Bone Lake outing with my son. A Sponge Bob sticker on the back of my boat. And I got to get real with the Hulbert Bros.
Best summer ever, you betcha. |

| Close, I was pulling in a sucker this spring and had one that size come up for a look see.
My dad raised the same 50+ inch fish blow up three different evenings on a top raider. Seen the fish roll two other evenings in the same area and found out it was a tagged 50" fish. |

| I haven't got a 50" in the net this year....but I have a hunch that's gonna happen in a few weeks. I'm fishing with Rich Collins for a few days in early October. Maybe the musky Gods will really shine on me and bless me with multiple 50"'s....who knows.
Ranger, it was super cool hangin' out recently. Tom and I both said we looks forward to coming back...this time we're hittin' the Mine Ponds. |
