Posts: 126 | Those are some nice size fish to stock. We are helping the PaF&BC stock a river this week and the fish will be half that size. I hope they take well for you guys, keep it up!

Posts: 194 | Were those fish hatched this year? What are they feeding their fish in Dodgeville? Steroids? Those are some huge stockers. Awesome fish and a big fat way to go Todd.

Location: The Yahara Chain | Very cool. What strain of muskies are those? Do you know where Gollons gets them? Great job Todd and company.

Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | Troy, I weill check on that for you. The only thing I know is they are 'WI' fish, and not Mississippi strain. From there, I am not sure which basin they came from, ie WI River, Chip, Black etc. We(Consolidated Musky Club inc) got 340 of the same fish from Gollons to stock in to the same area of the WI River, and I can say that they were the nicest looking spunkiest, and largest fish we have stocked in years. We have been alternating years, in that we purchase Mississippi strain fish(Leechers) one year and WI fish the next. I have been very dissapointed in the size and condition of the fish we purchased from one hatchery in MN(leechers), while the other hatchery there has always sold us very lively albeit relatively small fish compared to the fish we have purchased in WI, particularily the ones we received this fall.
