Is this a"just for fun event" or does some of the money go towards some worth while cause ?
Just wondering.

The tournament has a cash payout through 5th place.  All information can be found on the Mike's Bait On 8 website.

Guys and Gals,

I just talked to Rich over at Mike’s Bait and he still has openings for the “Freeze Your Nuts Off” Tournament on Sunday October 18th on Forest Lake. The field is a 50 boat maximum and it’s team format. Entry is $120.00 per boat with a nice cash payout for the top 5 spots. Following the tournament is a pig roast and lots of raffle prizes at Mike’s Bait. Check the Mike’s Bait On 8 website for more information and printable registration forms.

Pretty cool that there are tournies now with more reasonable entry fees. Now if my wife wasn't working that day.....

I stopped in to see Rich at Mike’s Bait today and get my entry in for the tournament this weekend. He still has openings available so if you were thinking about fishing it you still have time to enter. It’s going to be a fun event and it looks like the weather will be pretty nice on Sunday. Rich puts on a fun event with the pig roast after along with plenty of lures for door prizes so your boat will not go home empty handed even if the muskies don’t cooperate for you.

Tournament results are now online. Fish were not all that cooperative but the tournament was nicely run as usual. Great job Rich and I look foward to more tournaments next season.
