That's pretty neat! I have only caught a couple carp but I remember that they are great fighters. Had one of them smoked and it tasted pretty good too I think. I spend my winter icefishing but that would be interesting.

Very cool what did you catch it on? Is that the Mississippi? Grew up a block from the river and use to fish carp and suckers a ton when we were kids. Looks like fun.

Here's another way to enjoy the long winter that we've been having.

Just chilling and having a cold one Mike. Knowing you don't like girls kind of rubs me wrong too. LOL

On the Mississipi? Do you have those weird fish that leap in the air when they are spooked by a noise? It would be a riot to bring my 1941 Ithica 37 16 guage. I've seen videos of folks shooting them with bows.

I've spent the winter tinkering with a few baits, sharpening hooks, etc...
Thanks God I have a ski trip to Lake Tahoe coming in two weeks!

I got some cool baits from the Chicago Show, some cool custom DC-9s. One of them is has some tinsel mixed in with the skirts. It rocks!!! (Thanks Chad and Keith!!!) My latest tinkering has been customizing my already custom DC-9s and Reefer, with Mugambo grubs. Here's how they turned out.
