Location: ne53 | I'm going to have to put the Croixs and Lakewood away early this year. While on a trip to Canada, I fell off a granite ledge and tore the rotator cuff in my left shoulder (I was always the guy that preached safety). It could have been much worse, and for that I guess I'm grateful. With each day off I have, I'll look at those muskie baits with a wanting eye. For those of you that are able, post some pictures to rub it in so I can see what I'm missin'.  |

| I hate to be the one, but I drew the short straw and those buggers made me ask, "How exactly does one fall off a granite ledge while supposably musky fishing in Canada??"

Location: ne53 | Durring a shore lunch, I took a break to walk around and strecth the legs. We were on a small island (natural granite formation) that had some areas with large cracks. Some cracks were about 7 to 9 feet across and about 5 to 9 feet deep. It was an amazing natural setting and I thought it would make a great picture. I found one of these large cracks with a large rock at the bottom to sit on. (Not a good place to set the timer on the camera and only have 10 seconds to get into position.) Nothing to be proud of, but I did get to the bottom of hte crevice in less than 10 seconds. It gets worse, it wasn't even a muskie trip. A good friend of mine is close to the family that runs the camp on Lake Cormorant. It's a family fishing trip thats great for younger kids to keep them occupied with all the pike, walleyes, and lake trout. So I guess you could say yes, this happened all for a pike. PLEASE, rub it in a little more. LOL |
