Posts: 686 Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | Hmmm....... one 48" was all that we could muster out on the beautiful Lake Tom. I know of two mid forties that were lost as they were deathly afraid of the net and heard of other nice fish going. Musky Troy and I saw 3 one of which took a nice long look at a Pacemaker but wouldn't commit. All in all another fun nite of league. Water temps were 74 and the cabbage was up in 15 to 20 feet of water looked super!!

Posts: 617 Location: Clintonville, WI | That was my first crack at Lake Tom if you can believe that :-O.....I will DEFINITELY be going back!!! Not as intimidating as I thought it would be, although the too good weather may have had something to do with that. It will obviously take mucho time to truly learn the lake, the spots not obvious on the maps or to the eye, but definitely enough quality stuff to fish for the new folks to the water. We had a 40"ish fish come in after a Perkette off weeds in 12' but that #*^@ high sky at 6:00 let her see us and she did a 90 degree bye bye. Had another take a swirl at a Hawg Wobbler at 8:45 off a deep hard bottom point with weeds off the tip. I have no idea of the names of these spots on the map but they were obvious and worth fishing. I know our partners called us having several good fish active, but alas, nothing doing. Back at it next week.

Location: Contrarian Island | our madison league is on tues nites as well...in talking to SWorrall a few weeks ago on the water I didn't feel so badly with the lack of fish our league has been putting in the net... Last night we managed 3 fish but I don't think the full 28 guys fished...maybe about 20 ... Has it rained almost every tues night for you too!
