Pretty wide open. Can you narrow it down a bit?

Tons of places. Tell us some of your preferences like lake size, big fish, action, clear, stained and what kind of accomodations you would like to have.

Check out the Eagle Chain, and Three Lakes......that'll keep you busy for a while.

www.deadhorselodge.com is on the flambeau flowage, not on the big open part. My kids love it there, great swimming, good fishing and deadhorse lake is full of panfish which they have boats on. We are headed there in june. One thing you can do is call the area chamber of commerces, boulder junction, sayner, manitowish waters, ealge river, minoqua, mercer, ect and get an area brochure and also have them send you brochures on specific resorts that cater to what you are looking for.

Second on the Eagle & 3 Lakes Chains.

Others:

sunriselodge.com - A larger lake (Lac Vieux Desert) but really nice family resort.

northtwinlodge.com - Another nice family resort if you'd consider clear water.

North Twin Lodge, on North Twin Lake is our choice every year. There is plenty of variety of structure and weed cover. They have the best boat slips that protect your boat from every wind direction. They have great facilities for kids with a gradually sloping sand beach, playground equipment, basketball court, clean well equiped cotteges, close proximity to Eagle River and Phelps for shopping, and many nice "up nort" eating places. Best of all, there is a nice population of muskies that like top water bites.

When I fish Lake Namakagon in Cable, WI. I stay at The Four Seasons Resort.
Really nice place and the fishing is good too.
Decent numbers and a definite chance at a 50"
Here is the link to their site:

Wherever you go I wouldn't wait too long to make the arrangements.
A lot of the resorts are booked up already.
