Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | On suicks, if you have it already stripped and sanded, and want something I have already done, I charge $6.00 + shipping back to you. If I have to strip it and sand it, $10.00+ shipping. On baits that are e-texed, I only charge $2.00 extra to strip, because it's easy. If it's a Mouldy's or a Hi-fin Product, I charge $6.00 for stripping and sanding, because they are a bear.

When you go to sand it off, the sandpaper looks like your kid was trying to draw on it with her crayon. Forget about power sanding, because it smears the paint from one end of the bait to the other. On top of that, If I'm doing a topper stopper, I have to run to the bike shop to get a stainless steel bike spoke to rebuild the shaft, because it is the only thing that works well to re-shaft it (If I don't have any more on hand). Don't get me wrong, Hi-fins (and maybe just the older ones have this type of paint) and Mouldy's products are AWESOME baits. But from a repainting point of veiw, they make me groan when I see them come in.

Posts: 1207 Location: Pigeon Forge TN. | For stripping and finishing, I charge a flat rate of $7.50 for 6 to 8 inch lures, $8.00 for 9 to 11, after that it depends on the type of lure. I do charge extra for envirotexing the lure $ 1.50 This includes stripping and finishing the lure. Repairing a lure depends on what it needs.

Hey Rob, How do you bend those spokes? I'm assuming you got the grip of a grizzley bear

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | I got the grip of a lonely teenage boy. lol It is a bear to bend them, but I do it with looping pliers and a vise grip. I used to arm wrestle in tourneys, if that gives you any idea.
