I second the thanks. Shep picked a great spot, it is very festive and fun and with a musky show discount at the motel is very friendly on the wallet.

Great time, good food, plenty of friendly faces, it sounds like a commercial. It was a really good time my voice will be back sometime this week and just want to say to the NEW friends that I met there that they are a great bunch of guys here on Muskiefirst. Hey Shep you really have to start keeping track of your camera at these deals. Some of the photos could be held ransom. To Jackpot Johnny you out did yourself for me, I cannot thank you enough. That is what this fishing thing is about, helping each other out. May you have nothing but BIG fish following your Mantas.

Thanks to all who showed up. I think everyone had a good time. The horse d'hoovers were good, some nice baits were traded, the drinks flowed freely, and Shady was, well, SHADY! hehehe Was nice to see a bunch of MI Chapter 35 members there. Thanks Rick for putting the word out at last month's meeting.

I did talk to the hotel manager Sunday morning. He seemed pleased with the turnout, and has offered the pool next year. Not sure about how we will manage it, but it is something to think about. Perhaps put a bar in the pool area and have the swap there? I'll need some input on this.

Have a great year on the water this year with all your new baits!
