I'll buy gas and beer for the first volunteer to post here. I don't think you have to be a "guide" to take a guy out. You just need a boat, a couple poles, lures and a net. And a cooler.

That is correct you don't need to be a "guide" just the ability to take a Veteran out fishing.

Sign up yer club! But don't tease me about Treats, the guy who says "What the hell do I know, I sell screws." Excellent dude, VERY nice rubber lures (Eat Me!) and a fellow fan of Rizzo Tails. Fun to fish with, Treats. Told me once he could feel a muskie following a Zam, no reason to doubt it.

Ranger....if you are serious about the $20....here is a link to donate to the club, Milwaukee Muskies Inc. I can make sure that the donation goes to whatever cause you want, be it stocking, Kids Outings, Vets Outing, speakers....etc.
$20 buys one fish plus maybe a little of a second, like the tail pinch....

Not sure if that hyperlinks, but I copied it and pasted it to the browser and it worked. Site says it is for stocking Leech Lake muskies, but you can put a note on where the donation shoudl be used.

And....about this event....Bob Petzke and his wife, Daelyn work REALLY, REALLY hard to make this an excellent event. They reach out to organizations to find vets to go fishing, and they work with the community to get a lot of donations. In the past they've had singers come and perform the national anthem just prior to lunch and there have been some really nice raffles held.

But we need volunteers to take guys out fishing. I'll be there, for sure. But we need as many as we can get. Some vets don't even want to musky fish, so if you just want to take out a vet, odds are we can pair you with someone that won't care about what does, or does not bite the line.

New club member here. No boat but happy to volunteer with anything that’s needed for the event.
