Location: NW WI | Turned out good man. If your gunna do more u can get pinch on sinkers and clamp em further back on the shank to change the way she falls/sits on bottom. U can always drill the center of the weight to the size needed for said hook. |

Location: Alberta Canada | It’s hard to say for sure without seeing a better picture of the paddle but it might bend back and flap vs the normal paddle tail thump
I experienced this in my early attempts with paddle tails and found I had to brace or shorten the paddle
If you experience this you can trim off a small amount at a time when you test swim it till you reach the ideal action. This is the easiest way to fix your design before making another mold |

Location: SE, WI. | Mike; If this is an ejection mold it’s difficult to do, but if you add hardener in plastic to tail, and softer plastic in front, I’ve found it gives the tail more action! Also, you can buy weighted swim bait hooks with lead centered on hook in different weights! Good Luck, JD

Location: PA Angler | Thanks guys. I molded it from silicone off of one that I bought. It’s an opened pour as shown in one of those pics.
JD I know what your talking about as I have some weighted swimbait hooks as you mentioned didn’t think about try one. I used your 9/0 hook works great for what I wanted so far. Didn’t want the weight in the middle as I want it to dive with head first. Will that’s what I’m trying to do. Might have to do a different design but all that’s mentioned I will take in and see what happens.
I bought bait Plastics Muskie formula it is a very hard plastic and still have some soft plastsol left. First time using a hard so I may mix and cut it. |

Location: SE, WI. | Instead of the bell sinker. Use some lead wire. There are different sizes, thickness, and you could simply wrap wire around shank near eye, and create a nice taper as needed. JD |
