Huh. Well, LOW waters eventually flow to Hudson Bay, which connects to the Atlantic. Would that be a possible route?

Posts: 3491 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hiya, I don't think the website is accurate..... I looked at the stocking history of Channel Cats and it refers to a Lake of the woods in Illinois. To me, this would show information was just slapped together by someone, not really realizing where information is coming from. It's not to say channel cats don't exist in the water, but this raises my eyebrow about accuracy of information. So far I have not found anything on the Ministry of Natural resources page for Atlantic Salmon in LOTW...

Posts: 2030 | VMS is right its listing of fish species information for every lake know as "Lake of the Woods".(although that was not conveyed or probably even intended, its just put together by someone that doesn't know..like so much of what you see on the internet - lol) One LOTW is in Illinois..yep they stocks catfish...one is in New York, yep you guessed it has Atlantic Salmon. Posts: 267 | Solitario Lupo - 4/19/2022 10:38 AM If they are native to the Great Lakes, it would be only Lake Ontario. None were in the rest of the GLs. They were stocked in Lake MI. They are native to the east coast Atlantic Ocean and tributaries.Maybe they were there at one point in time but gone now. They are native to the Great Lakes.
