Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | I know this has been discussed before, but what are some sugggestions to keeping the eyes on your rod from freezing up? I remember somebody said they sprayed something on them. Does that affect the line? Does the spray cause your line to become weaker, breakdown? Thanks, Hulbert

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Thanks, But I would be afraid that WD40 or Pam would have some sort of effect on the line. I would hate to spray that on my guides, then have my line break, and have a fish with a 10 inch Jake connected to her face swimming around. I use super braids lobi, power pro. Hulbert

Posts: 2427 Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | 52, Thanks man! Do you have to keep spraying it on like each hour, or just a few times a day, or what? Thanks, Hulbert

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | Good info 52. I thought the WD-40 or Pam shouldn't hurt the power-pro but might break down the mono. I also use and love power-pro.
