How much does lure color matter? To me it seems like very bright colored lures would only work in dirty water, is this true or false?

JMO but vibration is 80% and color is 20%... Colors "catch" customers. But I do think you want to use light vs dark colors at certain times.

Long story short, it does to varying degrees depending upon weather conditions and other variables of the day.

for me the story of the natural lure for clear water and the unnatural one for dark water is as bs as the match the hatch,or the downsize for spring theory.
