Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I bought a pounder bulldawg from gander mountain yesterday for $4 and I looked at it today and it's pretty beat up (probably why it was $4). It almost looks like somebody caught fish on it already. The tail is the worst. It looks like it's going to break in half at two points. At one points it's just barely attached. Am I better off using mend-it or another glue, or would I be better off using heat. Thanks. |

Location: MN | I've had a few of mine that almost lost tails due to the toothy critters. I used a lighter to melt the plastic beck together and the result is fantastic. I would recommend going that route, but I have never used mend-it so I cannot speak to the pros and cons |

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | Just wasn't sure which way to go because the tail is basically not even attached anymore. I've got to pretty much completely reattach it. Then there is some small spots that just need to be sealed up. Does one method work better for completely reattaching the tail while another works better for sealing small spots? |

| Use a torch and a butter knife. Hear the knife and place between the two parts you want melted together. |

| I have had best results with Mend-It. I also sometimes use a mini butane torch. |

| For me, the mend it works better on the body portion of dawgs. Melting/welding holds better on the thinner tail portion. |

Location: Des Moines IA | Saw a Larry Dalhberg u-tube video on how to repair a bulldog and other large plastic baits. As mentioned above he used a butter knife and a lighter I believe. |
