Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | If I am in my boat I have a box with a large selection of hooks from 1/0 to 7/0 and they are all presharpened. If I am in someone else boat I will rob one off another bait and replace that hook when I get home.

Thanks for the idea, will do them when I go through the lures in April.

Posts: 612 | Since many - most of their hooks are wide gap to begin with I only use 1/0 to 3/0 Owner replacement hooks. Which is fine for me since I don’t throw anything over 4 oz. Some of their 3/0 are bigger gapped than other brands 5/0. They also come in different weight which is nice if you’re when trying to balance out a jerk – twitch bait. They also do not require sharpening as they are needle sharp.

Posts: 427 | I carry a small Plano with an assortment of sizes and styles all pre sharpened in my boat. In any other boat I take one from another bait.

Posts: 34 Location: Illinois | Small box of treble (various sizes) and a few singles. The single hooks usually come out no problem but if I were to have to cut one for whatever reason, I have a replacement.
