What do you use for Undertaker leaders, including snaps and swivels? I'm finding my one Undertaker to be pretty particular - she seems to want a short, medium wieght single strand, or about 6" at about 90#. Light hardware, Berkley #6 (100#) snap and a medium Rosco swivel. But I still don't know if I'm on track for sure.

What do you use?

Thanks.

I use a 60# sevenstrand leader with a 100# swivel, and a large coastlock snap, about 10" long. Works for me!

Cool wedding gifts, am sipping a soda out of one now. Thanks, man!!

I use about 10" of .045 single strand with a 175 lb crane swivel and a size 5 stringease snap. This setup works for just about every jerkbait I have.

8" of .031 solid strand with cross lock snap. All of my Undertakers seem to work fine on this setup.

Ranger,

I still owe you for taking me out on the menominee last year. What's your favorite color pattern? what type of rod are you using? I'm workin in Iron Mountain so I'll be able to drop off a little hot bait either at your work or at your house, whichever you want.

you'll throw that undertaker away.

Jake! How's it going? You don't owe me a thing, but I would be a fool to not accept a free hot musky bait. Drop it by the office, Northpointe at 715 Pyle Drive (behind KMS), my office is through the entrance at the back of the building. We'll also compare calendars and schedule some fishing time. How cool!

Hey, Lake X is about to turn on! I was out for Methane Muskies this evening. Not even a tail, as usual.

Sounds good. what color do u want? (challange my painting skills). Also what length? (6,7,8") I'll drop her off sometime next week. Lake X has been good to me so far, but I agree that the big lady's should start hitting the icecream stand when we get some heat. still low 60's right now I think? I'm fishing the eagle river tourney next weekend but after that I can go out anytime in the evening.

Color, eh? How about a sucker looking deal, or perch or walleye. Natural colors for the mostly-clear waters around here. But, regardless of the pattern, throw some purple in it. 8" please.

Good luck on the tourny!
