Posts: 403 Location: WI | Buoyancy is between a weighted & non-weighted wood Suick. A more consistent product with no wood density to deal with. Using short quick jerks the plastic version gives me a little WTD action along with the dive & rise. Don't know what you mean by the little one, only the 9" model has been available until now. I will be getting a 10" model, or 2, maybe 3....

Posts: 963 | I didn't think I was going to like the Plastic ones. But I sure did the have a little more dance to them and hook very well, Can't wait to use the 10" this year. Suick did a great job with these baits Jeff Hanson madisonmuskyguide.com

Posts: 1084 Location: Aurora | Another point worth mentioning is that the plastic ones seem to be more consistent than the wood ones from bait to bait. No more sifting through several wood ones while kneeling in the store before finding one with a favourable screw eye placement or replacing/modifying cotter-pin hook hangers & reinforcing with epoxy when wear is noticed. I still dig the action of wood baits but sometimes as i'm sifting through baits, knees numb, I can still hear my old man's voice. "Invest in plastics my son. They're the future!"

Posts: 397 | I was leary of the plastic ones at first, but as said above you save a lot of time not having to spend all the time tuning them

Posts: 150 Location: Appleton, WI | Do they work the same as those really good 1 in 10 wood ones.... NO. But every HI Plastic one i have runs well and true every time. They run right in the middle and you can really let them hang in the strike zone longer. I have multiple of the 9 inch and just bought 2 10 inch ones for this season. Sometimes you dont have to change alot when you have a great product.
