As the title states, when have you guys found the night bite ends?

Is it mostly a summertime deal an it slows to a stop in the fall or does it never really end?

The only thing that shuts down the night bite is the close of the season.

When the lakes freeze up or the season ends. Whichever comes first. Some pretty good nights can be had late in the season.

For me...the warmer the night the better. So yes, I think it slows but doesn't necessarily shut down. I caught one in 35 degrees at 4 am one time but other than that, I dont do well at night in fall. I've never been on the late fall bite that many talk about though.

My first thought is, be careful in which book you read... It may just mess you up... Last week in 2 days under a so called " bad "MOON phase we filmed 10 muskies and 9 went 40" or better. How about you?... Buck Perry was asked, "why don't you fish more at night?" his answer, "why would I do that, I catch plenty during the day".
