Does anyone use the Krisco Jr. bait? I'm looking for some shallow running baits for my father who has a poor shoulder and can't handle blades bigger than double 8's, deep diving cranks, or large rubber baits. He really likes to throw MiniD's, Buchertails, and size 13 jointed x-raps.

Also, can anyone speak about the Musky Armor gloves? I've been using a pair of rapala fishing gloves, the ones with the cloth back, and after almost getting a hook in the back of the hand this weekend I thought maybe I should look for something with a little more protection.

Lindy fish handler gloves. Kevlar front. Not cheap, but worth it.

Is the back of the glove cloth or is it Kevlar as well and can prevent a hook from going through?

The Musky Armor gloves will protect you from the gill rakers when you put the old Leech Lake lip lock on them and they thrash. But it's just a thin polyester microfibre fabric so it won't stop teeth or hooks.

On the gloves front. I have a pair of Musky Armor gloves and they work. You can get better and cheaper gloves at your local Menards/Home Depot/Lowes. I have been using some rubberized Kevlar gloves from Menards the last few years that are cheaper and offer more protection...check them out...
