| Has any of your waters TURNED yet?
If so, how do you know, and what do you do? |

| Most of the lakes up here will have turned over and will be in the high 40's by the middle of next week. I am fishing the edges this weekend on the rocks and weeds as the systems turn over. With the big winds a cold rain we have, it won't be long.[] |

| Talked to a guy this morning said two lakes in my area went in the last two days...
Using the crap floating everywhere and the water is big time cloudy theory....(normally fairly clear/clean water)
What am I gonna do....punt[:knockout:]
Gonna try another lake that turns a little later but will fish those lakes if necessary. Next weekend I will target those lakes again. I like to wait about 4-5 days and let it settle down a bit. I have caught them during turnover but not consistently.

| Schuler,
Our temps have been crazy also in N. Illinois. I know 2 weeks ago it was 53 when I got out on the water, then thursday it was 77. Hopefully (and according to the weatherman) it will stay cool now. The warmup we had last week killed fishing on the next cool day. I just want the fish to get used to the cold. Not hot then cold then hot then cold. But that's Illinois for ya.

| Was on High Falls flowage on the 5th, above the bridge the water was 58 and there was junk floating as far down as you could see. Below the bridge the water was 61 and clearer.

| Fished rivers this past weekend as I figured my lakes were turning. Should actually be a more normal fall for me. Past couple years saw lakes in turnover process for weeks, and some even restratify.
