| Just watched Steve's video and now I want a weagle. I rarely fish topwaters but that is going to change!!!
I was planning on getting a black one but what is the best size to get in your opinion - 8 or 10"?
Thanks

Location: Racine, Wi | Ha, easy question. Both.
Seriously, I typically throw the 8"er more then the 10"er, but that's just because I've had a ton of success on the 8"er. That being said, there are days when they do want the 10"er more then the 8 for some reason. Seems the really choppy days they like the 10 more then the 8. I do well with the 8 in the mornings and evenings and on days with a decent chop. But if they only follow the 8, I'll change to the 10, and at times that's all that it takes to get them to eat.
If you're only going to get one though, start with the 8 as it's pretty versitile (can work fast or slow), then throw a 10 in there when you can as a change. |

Location: Racine, Wi | I'm throwing perch 90% of the time, and that color has gotten absolutely chewed for me. Black would be the other that gets the nod. I'd say the perch in the 8"er and big black for the 10"er. |
