Click the link and watch the video. This is the basic idea behind a glide bait. I just picked this bait because I knew they had a video up. Many great glide baits out there which include the Hell Hound and Phantom to name a few.

With all due respect,,, I use Hellhounds quite a bit, but never like the Vidieo showed........ I have them poping out of the water, going up and down, sideways,pause,pull,pull reel,pause....Ect. .. Never just the same speed or cadance
The vid. didn't show the true ability that these lures can be worked at.
Work the Hellhound like a phantom, and it will catch fish.

The Hellhound is a very versatile bait that can be worked alot of different ways. I have caught many fish using a consistent cadence like in the video, or like you describe. Great search bait!

A glide bait is a bait that goes THIS WAY...then THAT WAY....THEN THIS WAY...THEN THAT WAY....THEN THIS WAY...THEN THAT WAY...THEN THIS WAY....OH FORGET IT.......LOL
