Posts: 706 Location: Richland Center, WI. | Well, after a recent trip to the optometrist's office (that's eye doctor for you youngsters) I broke down and bought some prescription glasses. Is there a good pair of clip on polarized flip ups out there? I really don't want to spend the money for prescription sunglasses. Ken

| Nothing will be as good as wrap arounds. Your choices are presriptions that fit in wrap arounds, fit overs that go over your current prescription or clip ons. I see Sams has a bunch that look pretty decent if you want those. Dont think the flip ups are worth it. They have a habit of flying off. Get the clip on in the right size and give it a shot. | |||

Posts: 2037 Location: lansing, il | I messed with clipons, fitovers, pulldowns, flip ups, you name it and i tried it. I hated them all, because as stated if they dont wrap around they will let light in and it will reflect off the inside of your glasses. The best thing i ever did was get percription insets made for the h3os. 10 times better than anything else i tried. http://www.h3opolarized.com It will depend on how strong and what type of Rx you have because they have to make a curved lens to fit your Rx. I would suggest calling and talking to Earl at H3o he can answer any of your questions. Also talk to your eye doctor as well. Edited by muskihntr 1/31/2010 10:11 AM

Posts: 2893 Location: Yahara River Chain | Speaking as a blind guy, okay lets say limited vision, I just went to Wal-Mart and got a pair of prescription glasses. They hug the face and don't allow the the light in from the sides. Its costs about $150. After years of throwing glasses over glasses, or hanging more weight on my nose with clip on and clip on/flip ups, its hurts. Now I have nice comfortable glasses to wear. Of course I can't tell if they work great, cause I"M BLIND, #*^@ it.

| Walgreens has both clip-ons and fit-overs. They work well for me. Brian | |||

Posts: 91 | My last prescriptions glasses came with Magnets to hold my sunglasses, kind of like clip ons but 100% better.
