Posts: 3480 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi everyone, Not sure if the general area is where this belongs, but knowing enough people on here are from the state just to my east, I figured some might appreciate the fact that a staunch Minnesotan would build a rod with the colors of their beloved team. It is actually turning out to be a very nice color scheme... It's a little dark on the lighting side, but each wrap is mainly green with both white and yellow stripes separated by a touch of green in between. Still has a couple of days to go to be done... Whatcha think? Attachments ---------------- Green-Bay-rod.jpg (196KB - 145 downloads)

Posts: 3480 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Here are a couple of better close-up shots of the next guide going on. Treats...I certainly hope it won't catch any fish in MN, and this is DEFINITELY NOT going to Brett Favre...His would be PURPLE AND GOLD BABY!! LOL Sure it'll land all sorts of 36 inchers and even bring in some fish close to that magic mark but I'd expect that rod to collapse when the big one is on the line.

Also no matter what the reel there will be a tendency for backlash and unaccurate casts Edited by Muskerboy 12/20/2009 8:45 AM

Posts: 3480 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Whatever rod is being used currently is doing it's job.. Currently seems to be quite accurate and successful so far, with only 5 or so misplaced casts as compared to an average of 17 misplaced casts over multiple seasons previously....
