The new Steel blanks that people are building musky rods on or did they come out with a new complete rod? If you are talking about the Steel blanks they are awsome.

They have a new line of rods. Supposed to be really nice. I saw them briefly at the CHicago Show, but they have had some production dealys and retailers still don;t have them. I am in the market for 2 new rods, I hope they come out soon, otherwise they will miss a chance at my business.

One of my brother's co-workers has the lighter one. I think it's the 1- 4 oz bucktail rod. They fished together last week and my brother threw it for about an hour. He said it is the nicest rod he has ever used. This is coming from a guy who owns about every model ( Avid- Legend- Premiers) St. Croix made and 3 of the older maroon Lommis's. Super light and super strong. Said he was throwing giant killers and double showgirls out of sight.

G Loomis for 2009 BLACK & GOLD very cool, 5 new rods, starting at 8' & up. One of them will be 8' for 1-4oz baits, next on a 8' for 2 pounders baits, and a 8'6" for 10oz baits, retail will be $330.00- $385.00, a SHIMANO TRINIDAD 16N will look good on one for sure.

Thorne Bros. has some "new" G Loomis muskie rods on their website. Not sure if these are the same ones pictured here or not...?
