Well, it looks like the muskies have plenty of shallow water to spawn!

webster is not that bad , you see webster flows into tippy and and then flows into oswego and there are so many feeder creeks and runoffs that the lake could not handle the water.. barbee still looks like that and tippy is worse in spots.. i dont think they will open up anytime soon.. heck the barbee landing still has water over the docks and past the pumps....bill

Dude, you are in correct with the flow of your surrounding lakes.

1) Webster overflow is the start of the Tippecanoe River.
2) Which flows to James,
3) Which flows to Tippecanoe,
4) Which flows to Oswego,
5) Overflow from Oswego continues to Tippecanoe River.

Water flows from Sawmill through Grassy Creek which ends in Tippecanoe.

I also believe water from Webster flows into Big Barbee lake and that is when Sawmil goes to Grassy creek.
I may be wrong but don't think so.
The water is going down pretty fast but we will see.

I have to agree with H2O-Miser, go to Google Earth and see for yourself.

Lots o luck...Those pictures are of Tippecanoe and not Barbee Chain (maybe the 2nd picture is barbee but not sure)...I was the one that took the pictures. The Barbee Chain and Tippy have both gone down tremendously the past 4-5 days (at least 12"). Hopefully the DNR will reopen them soon.

lots of luck

Thanks for clarification, I received them from a buddy in South Bend, not sure where he obtained them. I figured a co-worker, guess not. I grew up in Elkhart.

If you ever get back down this way...give me a call!

I have more pictures of the floods on my website. There are pics of both Barbee and Tippecanoe. You have to be a member to view, which is free to sign up.
