Posts: 41 Location: Oregon, IL | With the season getting near I thought I would post a photo of one I caught last fall with a messed up eye. It's right eye was popping out of the socket, I guess it maybe got hooked in the eye at one time. Other than that the eye appeared to be healthy. If anyone else has any odd muskie photos I would like to see them. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | Here's a rare photo of a Muskie from Maine. Fish this size are rare from that state due to their catch and kill culture. This one has kind of a strange head as well as a pretty serious look on its face. It dates back to the mid-1950's. Kevin Golf show again. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Posts: 415 Location: madison wisconsin | This one might be a little before my time I think but can someone explain the pic? Hopefully it's not one of those where once you know, you feel weird cause you should have known, lol.

Location: 412 | I remember in last year feb/march edition of Musky Hunter, they had an article and lots of pictures of 'odd muskies' - Some of them are freaky looking! Broken looking backs and short top jaws... very weird - but they were living and appeared in good condition otherwise

Posts: 1061 Location: Medford, WI | I have a few pictures that I should be able to get up in the next day or two. One of the pictures was in the MuskyHunter article that Punch is talking about. -Jake Bucki

Here is one my brother caught a few years ago that looks like it was dipped, and one I caught two years ago on a neighboring lake that had a similar pattern, although it wasn't as pronounced as my brother's fish. Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | This is a 38 inch muskie that was caught trolling. It fought like a regular normal fish even though I could stick my hand inside it and move around all of it's organs. I think it was hit by a prop earler in the season and it had a large open hole in it's side. Crazy fish are way stronger than we think. This fish actually had this hole in him for weeks or even longer because it was healing up. Not sure it will live long enough to seal up that size hole but I released it anyway. Fish was strong and deserved a chance. Attachments ---------------- ![]()
