Posts: 30 | The question was voted on as an advisory question at this years Conservation Congress meeting and passed (if I remember correctly), so it will likely be a full question at this years meeting. If it passes I assume it could be enacted quickly if desired.

Posts: 2894 Location: Yahara River Chain | Keep in mind that this late close (if it happens) will only be south of HWY 10. Mr Musky you have more than a year to find out. Check the 2009 regs when they come out to be sure.

Posts: 371 Location: Dixon, IL | South of hwy 10 make more sense.....most lakes would get ice at north of hwy 10! Ice fishing? Better left muskies alone until late spring for open season! I should not say anything because Illinois is open all year around....good thing that many lakes is 48" minium for muskies! Good to see that some lakes get 50" minium and many 40" minium in Wisconsin! I noticed that two lakes that I know so far is that muskies minium is 28"!!!!! I think Robert Lake and other that I can't remember but 28"????? Too many muskies or slow growing muskies?

Posts: 1185 Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | It is true the Southern Zone (Hwy 10) will be open until the end of December in 09'. The divorce courts will be busy with musky guys after a day on the water on Christmas. It sure would be nice to spend my birthday(15th) on Ochachee. I don't think she could say much about that.
