| I think this sounds cool, kind of like a tournament. Set it up like bracket racing on a dragstrip. Have a total number of guys and draw for a spot, two guys head to head the winner goes to the next round. You can even have a final four frenzy untill it goes down to the final two. The winner gets something cool like a hat or a t-shirt, heck maybe even money.

| I think we can do this....on different bodys of water.
Say I team up with Painter and we fish the Madison chain and we go up agenst Slamr and Lunchie on Lake X the same weekend. You get to pick the lake you and your team go to inorder to get the best results. Because if you loose..your out. I like the bracket idea...We could also have double elimination.
But leave the championship to one nuetral body of water between both of the final teams.
This could be a good idea, basicly a two boat tourney on seperate bodys of water competing for the same prize over multiple weekends with out much travel. You get to choose the lake you are going to, and would have went to if the match fishing contest was going or not.
Every lake is fair game...if you think you have to drive to Canada to win every week...well its your dollor..LOL
How do you verify...digital..ect
What do you do if someone ties...
What do you do if both teams BLANK
What type of point system...MI ect.
What if you cant fish every weekend....?
Answer this and we are ready to set up the bracket and seeds.

As for every weekend why not make it 1 or 2 weekends a month, you chose well ahead of time the ones your team will fish and on what Lakes. Doing them on same days won't matter as weather can be different from one area to the next, man we would have to fish next day to have the same weather conditions as you guys. LOL [:sun:] |

| TM....I would not count your chickens before they hatch....We have access here to many numbers lakes (Wingra in Madison) that if we catch 6-35" muskies...That will beat a 48" and a 42" any day.
Also weather is a concern. You could draw a day with hail and lighting...we could draw perfect weather...Its all in the game!
The neat thing is...you have to match your waters...so you can beat the other team. |

| This is deffently a way cool idea if I ever heard of one.I think the prize needs to be a weekly thing ,like a cool muskiefirst t shirt or hat,(please no fud hats) maybe even a monthly champion.The M.I point system should work good.

| Trophy I fished your waters before,you go by pounds and we go by inches. Thats about the only way I can compete with the boys I know up there. LOL Your water is awsome. |

| How about a 32 team bracket....You have two weeks to deside where and the day you want to fish to beat the team you up agenst. Must be the same day! and limited to 8hrs on the water.
That way we could have a sweet sixteen, and a final four and a championship.
With two weeks to deside between teams that gives you two weekends. |

| Ok..You have two weeks to deside when you are going to fish. You fish that same Saturday as the other team...both teams blank...

| If both teams blank you can goto a coin toss for the first round the first time. For the next rounds rely on the previous rounds catch if both blank and a running total throughout the brackets. If both competing teams are still blank goto a coin toss again.
The only thing that would suck is if both teams blanked in the champoinship round. I do think it's a good idea. |
