For those who fish northern WI. For those who are unaware, you can fish the WI/MI boudary waters starting May 15 for muskies! That's a over a week before the true WI opener. I for one have been fishing this opener for the last few years, and the fishing is great. Will be out again this year, and may be accompanied by Paul Klien. []

Does anyone else plan on fishing the dates of May 17-19 in Vilas county? I for one can not wait!

Cisco Kid,
Good info! Why not list some of the lakes you can hit on the weekend? I'm not sure of them.

Travis,

Thanks for the info! I usually fish the Madison area in May but would rather be up north! They also have the PMTT Tournament going on that week, good week to be up north! My lake near my cabin in Tomahawk isnt open untill later.

Thanks,
Don

I'll be on the border lakes of the Cisco chain. Sure beats heading south.

I am fairly sure if you do this you need your michigan fishing lic. on the border lakes. better check.

Don, as long as you have either a Mich. or WI. license you are fine.

I sincerely hope the reference to "Mamie" wasn't directed at one of "us"...you + your brother did a # on my family tree at the Cave if I remember correctly!!![;)] [:sun:]

You're killing me Mr. Squarepants!![:p]
Of course I'm not referring to you and your "family". That would be inappropriate without you being present.
