I'm taking 3 guys up to Vermilion (in MN) in late Sept, early Oct. Any suggestions for an economical few days.

Thanks,
Nick

Marjo Motel in Tower, good enough and decent price. I was just there last weekend. Be sure to book in advance and send in a deposit.

Not too far from the public launch

Killer,

I've stayed at the Hotel Expedition a few times also.

In virginia we stayed at SKI view motel....was cheap....like 4 or 45$ a night! AND it was a nice place, room for boats etc....has a little greasy spoon next door that had decent breakfast too...

We stayed there one night on our way up to Canada.

The Hotel Expedition is a great place to stay! I upgraded to a suite last weekend. Amazing how well an aero bed fits in the back!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. This website makes me feel so much better

If you want to fish the east side try camping at McKinley Park Campground
