I have to laugh. I was just on to see if he was logged into Messenger. Was gonna ask how league went last night. I'm guessing "not so well".

It was a very frustrating evening. 3 very nice fish went nutz on topwater and totally missed, and 1 REALLY nice fish slurped the bait; all went perfectly until she charged the boat and went tail end over teakettle, handing me my hinder, and my lure...right in front of one of the other League rigs. The fellow looks over at me and says, "Now that was a keeper!!"

I feel some of this pain. My dad is having trouble losing fish this year. When it's his turn on a fish while we troll, he may lose 4 before he gets one. Being a nice son, I let him catch one before it's my turn. I rarely lose a fish. I bet he's lost 8 fish in the last 3 weeks to my 0. Some of them have been nice ones too.

I've been infected with the dropsies since the Goon. This has to end!! I protest!! Boycott non coopperative Muskies!!

Oh well. Eventually, the law of averages will turn this around. I hope that happens on Sabaskong Bay!
