Hey all - long time visitor of this page but first time poster. I’m looking to buy a Wishmaster. I know they are very rare and expensive - if you have one you might be ready to let go of please send me a message and let’s talk. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure they’re around 3k. I was outbid at the last second on ebay earlier this year.

I didn't know what this lure was so googled and found a thread from here back in 2013. At that time, one sold for a reported $300. If that was correct and JKahler's estimate holds for today, that would be a very nice appreciation.

I can remember the maker, but not his name, being at the Chicago show. Seems like the Little Wish was $270 and a Big Wish was $290. Seemed exorbitant then, kind of like gold.....

Yes his name is Rolf, he was a great person and bait maker, he passed shortly after the last show he did.

Friends Of WishMaster
Honouring the Legacy of Rolf Balansiak and Wishmaster Big Baits
As many of you know, on the morning of Thursday, January 17th 2008, the founder and sole producer of hand-crafted baits at Wishmaster Big Baits Rolf Balansiak- passed on, succumbing to the sudden and fatal effects of the rare blood disorder known as T.T.P. [Moschcowitz disease]."

from: http://friendsofwishmaster.ca/

Only 150 Wishmaster Big Baits were handcrafted, numbered and dated each year by the artist Rolf Balansiak, making every Wishmaster a collector's prize. m :
