| Great old time lures and some of the new buy outs are great too. I've never taken a muskie over 30" on a Suick but if I need to catch a 28"-29 1/2" it's a sure thing! I've had many 20 pound fish spit the old Suick's back at me and flip there tail at me. |

I think I may move more fish with a Weagle, but have caught more on a Nite Walker. Think that is a really under rated top water. |

| Weagle, Nite Walker, and Cisco Kid Topper is a great top water trio and Susie Sucker was the first of the paddle tail lures.
Looking on the Suick website and looking at R&H Thornes ECT they don't seem to have some of the old good colors anymore like Flowage Green, Grey back Silver sides pink bottom to name a few of my favorites.

| For a smaller profile topwater, the nite walker sure makes a loud "plopping" sound on the retrieve. A sure big fish producer. Kdawg |

Location: NW WI | First Muskie of my life was on a Red Hot Thriller. Back then it was a prototype and was given to me by a close friend of Steve's as a tip. Being younger and dumber I always picked "cooler" baits to throw and only went back to my few unweighted woodies when depth and "nothing else is working" conditions arose. This last fall I finally,finally, finaaaalllly! Landed 39" of proof out of a questionable system that's has been frustrating me for years. Got er on none other than a Frankensuick, a bait I would've possibly have never owned if it weren't for you guys on here! So thank you all for the education.
Picked up 2 adjustable HI's this winter, and man, I'm not sure what's going on but those 2 baits have Thee sharpest hooks I've ever had from a new bait, as sharp or sharper than new Owners. Pricked myself multiple times T'ing hooks and tuning the tail. Think I touched up maybe 5 out of the 18 hook points, that's fricken impressive if you ask me.

| I like throwing classic lures. Last fall I took a old early 90's custom Thorne Brothers Muskie Fever aera 9" Suick extra weighted with custom Crappie paint job. Who knows when the last time this lure had seen the water. I don't remember it have that much action being extra weighted and advertised as a deep runner. Boy was I wrong it looked so good I can't believe I didn't score on this lure. It will be on the next trip. I'm also a fan of the 9" Bobbie and I remember in the 70's these were some of the largest lures available (big fish baits) Same story with the Bobbie and catching smaller fish. |

| Great news on many fronts. First I have had great success with Suicks for over 40 years. I know it is referred to as an
'old time" lure but it is as successful today as it was when I started using it many years ago. It remains as a go-to lure for me and I always have one on one of my poles on my deck. Second it is gratifying to hear the "sale" will continue the family legacy. Too often we lose something when companies are purchased. Finally my assumption this will ensure Suick continues in Antigo and stays local. |
