Posts: 1415 Location: Brighton CO. | Holy crap Danny used to belong to our old Colorado Chapter Of Muskie INC I heard he had cancer of something along that line, I was wondering if he was out of the woods I guess I've not seen many posts by him. Good guy and a great fishermen. After I left the Colorado Chapter Of Muskie INC I guess there were issues with him living in Tennessee and belonging to the chapter (he started out belonging from Wyoming) but living in Tennessee he caught fish all year kicked everybody butt. A lot of the membership did not think it was far. So they the board made him come to one event a year to be eligible for prizes ECT. When I was the RVP and my dad was the chapter pres. we had close to 200 members and at Christmas time we had a whole room full of people, food, lures, and fun. (no booze allowed) at The Division Of Wildlife Building. I think everyone heard my grievances against my old chapter. I never repeated this story out of respect for Danny, One Christmas he flew in for the party and to fulfil his "obligation" to the chapter he was one of five people at the party. When I heard the story I felt bad for Danny but not the rest of them! They treated my dad like crap and after we left it took a couple of years for the chapter to bleed out but bleed out it did. That Christmas party was the last event.

Posts: 1415 Location: Brighton CO. | It's been two month's since his last post! I was hoping he was going to be ok! When he was in Wyoming he caught all his fish from shore or wading. A lot of his fish were caught on a Rapala Spoon!

Posts: 1415 Location: Brighton CO. | Wyoming like a lot of states have a master angler program and if you catch trophy fish. Part of the program if you catch ten different types fish you become a "ultimate Angler" Danny became the first to do this.(while battling cancer). He caught 11 types of qualifying fish between June 2019- Oct 19. This fellow could fish!

I know, he sent me an article about this ... despite his health problems he managed to do it ... it gave me a great life lesson and I'm glad I helped him realize his Italian pike dream
